run/hack 1.3.7 - jumpstarting the first round


v1.3.7 adds one small change to the end of the Setup section of the rules:

 Take the leftmost Node token from your player board and place it in the middle of your current location tile. Take the die from there and add it to your dice pool.

This will jumpstart the first round of the game in a few ways:

  • You start with 4 dice instead of 3.
  • You start the game with the first mod unlocked.
  • It gives you some control of your starting dice pool. For example: you might choose to start on a location with a white die, to immediately use a card that costs 2 memory.
