Card Shark Pool 1.3.1 - new pairs, new 9-ball layout
Card Shark Pool » Devlog
Rolling pairs seemed to be too easy, and it was too easy to go for either a pair or a straight, when you rolled a 4, 5, or 6 on your first roll. To make a shot with a pair, you now need to roll either a pair of sixes or a pair of ones.
I also tweaked the 9-ball rules to include a full set of 16 cards; simply flip cards 10-15 before shuffling. This allows you to play on a "full size table" with more empty space. More longer shots will encourage more thoughtful use of the "make" text on the cards, to manipulate the balls on the table.
